Paul Murray has lived in the Brentwood Bay community of Moodyville for over three decades. He is a Corporate Director (ICD.D), holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Victoria, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia and Canada (FCPA).

Paul has more than 30 years of executive leadership and governance experience, having served as a Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Director across a range of local government and nonprofit organizations. He is currently the Principal Consultant with Brentwood Advisory Group, a Victoria-based consultancy providing strategic, organizational, financial, and climate resiliency advice to select clients across British Columbia.

Paul serves on the Boards of the Victoria Airport Authority, Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, Community Energy Association of British Columbia, and the Saanich Inlet Lifeboat Society. A dedicated community volunteer, he is also a member of RCMSAR Station 31 in Brentwood Bay, contributing to marine search and rescue operations as a coxswain.
