Wayne Rowe is a resident of the Sunshine Coast. Since 1981, Mr. Rowe has owned and operated a legal firm in Gibsons, focusing on property, commercial, corporate and estate matters. After several years of service as an officer in the Canadian Army, he graduated with a B.A. from Queen’s University in 1975, followed by an LL.B from the University of British Columbia in 1979. He also obtained a French language civil law diploma from the University of Sherbrooke in 1978. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association. Mr. Rowe is actively involved in the Sunshine Coast community, having previously served on the boards of the Hospital Foundation and the Community Forest. He also participates in seminars for the Elder College in Sechelt. Mr. Rowe served as a Councillor for the Town of Gibsons from 2009 to 2011 and as Mayor of Gibsons from 2011 to 2018.
