Rebecca Maurer is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Post Secondary Employers\u2019 Association (PSEA), the employer bargaining agent for BC\u2019s 19 public colleges, institutes, and special purpose teaching universities. As CEO, Rebecca transformed PSEA\u2019s operations, ensuring that PSEA was both fulfilling its statutory mandate and meeting the needs of a diverse membership.<\/p>

Prior to joining PSEA, Rebecca was the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at Douglas College. Both at Douglas and PSEA, Rebecca developed a reputation as a smart and thoughtful strategist and compassionate people leader.<\/p>

Rebecca has considerable governance experience having served on the boards of the Municipal Pension Plan, the New Westminster Police Department, Partners in the Horn of Africa, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation BC\/Yukon Chapter, Planned Parenthood BC (now Options for Sexual Health) and Langara College. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Simon Fraser University, completed both the Human Resources Management and Public Sector Leadership programs at Queen\u2019s University, and is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/article>\n\t\t\t\t
